Specification
Power joints are a very delicate part. The flanges of these rotating machinery components are joined using calibrated tie rods that act on shear forces. Therefore, it is important that this process be performed when the flanges are mated, to achieve a perfect fit in terms of precision and roughness. This process is achieved by engineering a special boring tool, to which special materials are applied for the final lapping. The engineering department oversees all activities and provides a comprehensive report on each verification step.
