On-site dimensional surveys for industry.
Why is it necessary?
Dimensional surveys are performed when it is necessary to ensure that all mechanical components meet the declared dimensional standards. They are also used during on-site mechanical processing, as a check on the dimensions of the machined parts.
When is it applied?
In this case, dimensional measurements can be carried out directly on the construction site/factory, when it is not possible, or too expensive, to transport a mechanical component to a static workshop.
Where can it be applied?
It can be applied directly on site, as it is a portable instrument.
What instrumentation is applied?
Laser Tracker
We use portable laser tracking equipment with a maximum range of up to 100 meters and a temperature range of -4° to 104° (F). This instrument can be used in any facility, given its small size, which allows for easy positioning. The following levels of accuracy are achieved:
CAD Analysis
The Laser Tracker communicates with a CAD system, which allows the 3D reconstruction of the component to be checked. This way, it can be compared with the original project drawings.
