Mechanical machining operations that can be performed on heat exchangers
Service Packs
Specification
This repair package includes all the operations that can be performed on a heat exchanger.
- Key Slot Milling: Use of portable linear milling machines to restore the aforementioned seat.
- Flange facing: Restoration of phonographic or concentric grooves, RTJ using flange facing machines.
- Pipes: Expansion and caulking, but also cleaning of internal pipes.
- Removal of seized tie rods: Removal of seized tie rods using drills or spack erosion to avoid any type of damage to the internal thread.
- Torque tightening: Using hydraulic torque wrenches or hydraulic tensioners. For hollow tie rods, we can use our magnetic induction tightening machine.
Range of application
Up to 800mm in diameter and 12000mm in length, for the standard configuration.
Customization
This machine can be equipped with special kits to work on larger sizes depending on the specific case.
